The day the doctor told me I was
having a baby…
Was the day I started preparing for
you…
I felt you kick me and I felt you
move…
I felt you move through me!
What a glorious moment knowing there
was life inside of me…
What a miracle to know that something
beautiful was coming from inside…
What a feeling of love that overcame
me…
What a feeling of love!
I know longer thought of me…
I no longer thought of life as the
same…
I had this beautiful baby coming…
That was all I needed to think of!
Then with all my heart I thought of
you…
To touch you!
To kiss you!
To love you!
Then it happened…
You came forward…
With those beautiful puffy cheeks…
With those eyes that just stared at
me saying I trust you!
You grabbed my heart…
You grabbed my soul…
You grabbed my fingers…
You grabbed me!
My heart was overjoyed…
My heart was racing…
My heart was about to burst…
My heart was overflowing!
What a miracle from God…
What a beautiful gift from above…

He sent you to me…
He gave me love…

He gave me you!
You came home, and I couldn’t get
enough of you…
I couldn’t put you down…
I would place my ears next to you to
hear you breathe…
